Peel Regional Police Issue a Public Safety Alert: Large Quantity of Narcotics Stolen

Mississauga – Peel Regional Police are issuing a public safety alert after a large quantity of prescription medication was stolen from a warehouse in Mississauga.

Sometime between 10:00 p.m.Monday, July 16th, 2007 and 7:00 a.m.Tuesday, July 17th, 2007, an unknown suspect broke into the warehouse. When employees entered the premise early this morning, they discovered the break in. 

The following narcotics were stolen; Hydromorph, Morphine, Diazepam, Ketamine, Fentanyl Transdermal, Acetaminophen with Codeine, Lorazepam, Midazolam, Meperidine, and Sufentanil. 

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information regarding the incident or location of the narcotics is urged to contact the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at (905) 453-2121 Ext. 1233 or Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
