Brampton - Brampton's Goodison Insurance and Financial Services Limited is looking to expand and is improving how they do business with their clients, according to Scott Goodison, owner of the company.

"We're more technologically sophisticated, we're doing more things over the computer and the internet then we ever have done before in terms of sending information back and forth…plus, we're much more pro-active in terms of making recommendations to our customers about various coverages."

Located in the downtown core, the business has recently been through some major renovations. They have re-vamped the front and the back of building and are planning to increase in dollars and employees, in the next two to five years.

"We figure we'll have about five or six more employees and our business will be growing by about $17 million. I would say about 60 per cent bigger then we are now," said Goodison.

Serving 50 years in Brampton and co-owned by brother Brad Goodison, the company is also involved in many charities, organizations, schools, local churches and athletic teams in the city.

Goodison said they are always looking into ways to improve the business, the way they run things and be involved in the community as much as possible.

"We're very forward thinking, we feel we're on the cutting edge, always looking at different ways of doing things, by coming up with better ways to communicate with our customers and we're constantly thinking of ways we can help in our community, because we believe in the city and what is happening in it."
