Mississauga, ON - On June 2nd , 2007, several enthusiastic teams joined together for a day of fun competition at Big Brothers Big Sisters 2nd Annual Street Hockey Tournament. There were over 90 participants, celebrities and volunteers in attendance. Highlights from the fun-filled, fast-paced, 3-on-3 tournament was the Celebrity Showcase Showdown, as Mike Hogan of the FAN 590's and his Celebrity Team (Lou Franceschetti, Brian Beisel, Bill Derlago and Jack Valiquette, Cabbie and D) faced off against the Rutman Royal's of Rutman and Rutman Professional Corporation - the tournament's highest fundraising team.
Rutman and Rutman raised over $2,600 to have the chance to play the great celebrities. Cabbie from Cabbie on the Street was in net making key saves and Derlago, Valiquette and Franceschetti were intense on the floor with great spirit.
