Caledon, ON – Join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel for their 22
nd Annual Golf Classic on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Glen Eagle Golf Club in Caledon. This first class charity golf event will to be a day to remember with specialty holes and great prizes. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. followed by a barbecue lunch and shotgun start at 12:45 p.m.
Registration is $250 per golfer or $900 per foursome. Your fee includes 18 holes of golf, a power cart, barbecue lunch, "all-you-can-eat entrée" dinner, 2 complimentary drink tickets, giveaways, player prizes and a silent/live auction. "Each year we look forward to welcoming new foursomes to come out to join us at our Annual Golf Classic. It is a wonderful day of golf and a great way to support the children in your community. We anticipate having 45 foursomes this year and we look forward to continuing to grow this fantastic event, says Cathy Denyer, Executive Director.
Last year 160 golfers and 20 sponsoring corporations helped to raise over $64,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel. This year's goal is to raise $70,000 to help support the 1,190 children in Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs, as well as to assist the agency in finding mentors for the 265 children who are currently waiting.
