2006-2007 Writing Project is a co-operative effort between the Dufferin-Peel Separate School Board (Brampton East, Caledon, Dufferin and Malton family of schools) and brampton.com. The project's goal is to encourage students to write about issues that affect our community through various forms of writing (poetry, short stories, essays, etc.). They say this
They say that
But what they don't know are the facts.
They say hi with fake smiles &
Once I leave, they take a while
To see if I'm gone. They stop to reflect on their true colours,
Which happens to be talking about others.
All the gossip, jealousy, and the fallacies they preach,
Leads me to the conclusion that I go to go teach
Them a 101-tutorial about me.
Because I guess their just too blind to see the realness of my true and straightforward personality!!
