2006-2007 Writing Project is a co-operative effort between the Dufferin-Peel Separate School Board (Brampton East, Caledon, Dufferin and Malton family of schools) and brampton.com. The project's goal is to encourage students to write about issues that affect our community through various forms of writing (poetry, short stories, essays, etc.). Students' writings are published online at TheBramptonNews.com and brampton.com. Register your school to participate in the 2007-2008 Writing Project by calling 905-794-0841.

Those moments when you're alone, define who you truly are. When you've gone away in a special zone, and you feel so distant and far. Imagination lets your mind go free, and the world is a brand new place. You may pursue the possibility that you will one day feel the embrace. Have the love and warmth in your dream, which at times you believe to be true. The hopes and aspirations that do seem as though they may follow through. Search for that moment, when you feel safe and sound, for you may realize it helps your life turn around.
