Bramalea Lions Club
Bramalea Lions Club was chartered in 1962, the club became a major player in community events almost from inception.  Youth activities and sporting events (hockey, baseball, soccer, etc.) remain one of the clubs active roles.  Through the Health and Welfare Committee and the Education Committee, assistance has been provided to groups and individuals over the years.  As times change, our focus on various activities change to match, and nothing reflects this more than in the recent years where we became a sponsor for the Air Canada Dreams Take Flight program. To date; we have sent 54 deserving children to experience a "Dream Come True".  Visit our website for more information: http://www.bramalealions.com/

Brampton - Are you interested in a good Murder Mystery?  Come and be a part of the Bramalea Lions Club at their Murder Mystery Dinner & Show on Saturday, April 14.  The show is performed by Murder by Arrangement, which is a branch of the Brampton Music Theatre.  Unlike traditional shows, the actors are right there with you, the audience, and give you the opportunity to participate or not.  The story begins during cocktails and unfolds throughout dinner: Act I is followed by salad, Act II by dinner, etc.  There is no performance while you eat.  At the conclusion of the performance you write down your guess as to who the murderer is.  The winner will receive two tickets to Brampton Music Theatre's next production.

Brief synopsis of the show: Four days ago restaurateur Giuseppe (Pepi) Roni was found murdered in the kitchen of his renowned eatery, La Sperenza.  Pepi had been shot in the back with his own pistol.  Tonight his family and friends have gathered to pay their respects to poor Pepi.  One of them is a murderer!

The show will be held on April 14, 2007 at the Bramalea Lions Hall, 45 Avondale Blvd. in Brampton.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Cocktails and cash bar at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $75.00 per couple. No ticket sales at the door.

For tickets email at bramalealions@rogers.com or call Dave at 905-838-1321 or Gary at 905-452-6410.
