Brampton, ON 03 Jan 07 - The Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Bureau and Peel Crime Stoppers are seeking the public's assistance in solving a vicious early morning robbery that occurred in Brampton.
On Saturday, December 23, 2006, at about 4:15 a.m. the victim was working at the Shell Gas Station located at Hurontario Street and Bovaird Drive. A masked suspect entered the gas station, vaulted the counter and began brutally assaulting the victim.
The victim managed to briefly flee the punishing assault, and the bandit then stole the victim's laptop computer, cell phone, lottery tickets, cigarettes, and a quantity of cash before fleeing the store in a waiting get-away car.
As a result of the assault the victim was transported to hospital where he underwent brain surgery to remove bone fragments embedded in his brain. Images of the suspect can be viewed at [Shell robbery suspect].

Description:
Male, white, early 20's, 6 feet tall with a medium build. He had a light brown beard and moustache, blue eyes, and was wearing a red scarf over his face, a ¾ length hooded blue jacket and a Toronto Maple Leafs toque.
