About Invest in Kids
Invest in Kids is a national charitable organization promoting the healthy social, emotional and intellectual development of children 0-5 years. By translating the science of parenting and child development into engaging, easy-to-understand, relevant resources, Invest in Kids helps parents become the parents they want and need to be.

Parents can use Invest in Kids' simple, research based approach to parenting Comfort, Play & Teach™ to help their children reach their full potential. Comfort, Play & Teach™ is built on everyday moments that are already part of a parent's daily routine and shows the relationship between a parent's behaviour and a child's development.

The Welcome to Parenting Box features resources and information based on Comfort, Play & Teach: A Positive Approach to Parenting™: The Amazing World of Your Baby: Birth to 18 Months; an age-appropriate developmental toy, with Comfort, Play & Teach card to make the most out of playtime; a bath mitt; a Parenting with the Zap Family video and guidebook, featuring the animated Zap family seen on CBC Television; a children's book; and more!

These Welcome to Parenting resources show parents how they can promote certain developmental outcomes throughout every stage of their baby's development and help them nurture their parent-child relationship. For more information about Invest in Kids, visit www.investinkids.ca
